Sounds good and comes fitted witha plastic protector, but allows access to the buttons.Good value for the money. FM radio, (well Most devices loseconnection on FM) Pity It's not Digital Radio which is far better.Touch Screen works well sound and on off switches (Buttons) areeasy to use. I have a son with autism. He loves listing to music pretty much all the time. We got this as an upgrade to his old more simple MP3 player. It has been one of his favorite Christmas gifts, and he uses it every single day. It took him a little bit to figure it out at first, but he has his play lists set now and had downloaded some music too. He pairs it with his wireless earbuds and is greatly enjoying it. Plenty of storage and battery life seems decent since I've never heard him complain about it. A little bulky, but overall a great gift for him.

This is an android based device... so although its advertised as an MP3 player - its more like a tablet in its capabilities.It can play videos, either stored on the device or via apps (even plex!).Battery life is decent - nothing to write home about, but for the price - exceeded my expectations.This is a great 'starter smart device' for kids, but a word of caution - it can browse. Luckily with the android platform you have controls you can apply.Bluetooth connection to audio outputs is simple, and sound quality is very good. The device is a perfect size for easy transport - and its suprisingly durable (I've dropped it down the stairs, only a couple dings on the case - the screen was fine).Overall, I'd say the functionality vs the price is a steal. 5 Stars from me

Good for the money. It does not support Apple Airplay . The airplay app is misleading. I use it most days with Bluetooth to play on my Yamaha receiver. Good quality sound. It’s much easier to navigate than the duff mo3 I had to send back which was nearly 3 times the price.

It’s based on Android and you have GooglePlay at your fingertips, too.It’s built in display plays videos too but that’s beyond my particular use case. The MX Player is preinstalled and supports MKV, AVI, MP4, and MOV formats, too.The player is easy to use. Despite its simplicity, it’s well constructed from quality materials. Having this much capacity right out of the box makes the initial setup much more enjoyable.The most notable feature is the ability to install the Google Play Store. This allows you to customize the player with your preferred apps rather than being restricted to factory software. This mp3 player has been really great for my kids to listen to music. It's easy to use and comes with lots of pre-loaded music apps. At first it kept having some issues. It would get out of Spotify while we were adding songs to a playlist. Those issues worked itself out though. It's been running well for several weeks now. We frequently hook this up to shower speakers and that's worked really well and is simple to do. The sound plays pretty well on the device itself too. So far it's held up really well, even with kids occasionally getting it wet. The size of it is maybe 2/3 the size of a smart phone. So it's compact, but still big enough to be able to use the touch screen well. It also has a lot of storage, which is nice. We've been really happy with it.

PROS: Compact, easy to use and navigate, fast downloads, feels solid and durable comes with a translucent protective cover, most popular apps. already preloaded popular apps., hardwired ear buds with multiple size foam adapters, and 128GB MicroSD for removable and transferable files. It does virtually everything a smart phone can do except take pictures and make calls. Bright easy to navigate screen, good playback quality, one button record features. CONS: Bit difficult to get Bluetooth to pair (marginal range), sound output volume and quality is marginal with included ear buds (However the sound is good with a real set of wired headphones), FM radio has good reception and station ID features, however, you need to plug in the the ear buds so the cable can act as an antenna). Overall good value and would make a great gift...ideal for situations where you don't want to risk for lend you phone out, or for young ones to play without having access to your phone.
