How do I transfer files from a Windows computer to my MP3 player?

Steps:

  1. Connect the MP3 player to your computer using a USB cable (cable length ≤ 1 m is recommended to avoid signal loss).
  2. The device will be automatically detected. Windows 10/11 will install the compatible drivers without any manual intervention.
  3. Open "This PC", locate and double-click the MP3 device icon (usually displayed as a removable disk or the device name) to access its internal or external storage.
  4. Drag and drop music, videos, or e-books from your computer directly into the MP3 player's folders to complete the transfer.

Folder and File Name Guidelines:

  • It is recommended to create clear categories in the root directory or within the default folders (e.g., Music, Video, Ebooks). Avoid deep folder nesting (path depth should not exceed 5 levels).
  • File names must not exceed 255 characters. Avoid using special characters such as \ / : * ? " < > |.

File System Compatibility:

  • MP3 players typically support only FAT32 (single file size ≤ 4 GB) or exFAT. NTFS format is not recognized.

Common Issue – Some songs cannot be played:

  • Cause: Bitrate too high or encoding format not compatible.
  • Solution: Use software such as FormatFactory to convert the audio to MP3 format with a bitrate of 128–320 kbps and a sample rate of 44.1 kHz.
