Q: How to Show Lyrics on Globluum MP3 Player (HiBy Music App)
A: Please turn on your Globluum MP3 Player, tap the Music icon on the home screen to open the HiBy Music app, and follow these steps.
🎵 Accessing the Lyrics View
On the Now Playing screen, swipe left to cycle through the three views: Album Cover ↔ Lyrics ↔ Track Details.
💡 Alternative Entrance: On some themes, you can quickly open lyrics by tapping the 【Lyrics】 icon in the lower-right corner of the playback screen.
⚙️ Troubleshooting: If swiping doesn't work → Go to Settings → Theme & Display and ensure the lyrics master switch is ON. For desktop lyrics (floating window), enable Settings → Desktop Lyrics and grant the app "Display over other apps" permission in your system settings.
📁 Method 1: Local LRC Lyrics (Auto-Load)
• Naming Rule: The LRC filename must be identical to the audio filename (no extra brackets or artist names).
◦ Example: Hello.mp3↔ Hello.lrc
• Storage Path: Place the song and the LRC file in the same folder.
• Activation: Lyrics will load and sync automatically when you play the track.
• ⚠️ Encoding: We recommend using UTF-8. If lyrics appear garbled, save the file as UTF-8 via Notepad or switch the encoding in Settings → Lyrics Settings.
• 📝 Note: HiBy Music also supports reading embedded lyrics (ID3 Tags) inside audio files, so an external .lrcfile isn't always necessary.
☁️ Method 2: Download Lyrics Online
Use this if you don't have a local lyric file.

🛠️ Fixing Out-of-Sync Lyrics
⏱️ Fine-Tuning: On the lyrics screen, long-press the lyrics area, then drag the "Lyrics Offset" slider (milliseconds). Settings save automatically.
🔄 Root Cause Fix: Navigate to the song’s folder, delete the existing LRC file, and re-download or replace it with a new version.
🎨 Customizing Lyrics Style
🎨 Font / Color: Go to Settings → Theme & Display → Lyrics Settings to customize font size, color, highlight style, and background transparency (note: high transparency may make lyrics seem to disappear).
📱 Landscape Mode: Enable auto-rotation on your device and turn the player horizontally. Some third-party themes do not support landscape lyrics; if it fails, switch back to the official default theme.
