How to Transfer Files Without QR Code on MP3 Player

Yes.The File Transfer feature on your Globluum MP3 player is powered by Send Anywhere, which supports two pairing methods:

  • 📷 QR Code (requires a camera)
  • 🔑 6-digit numeric code (recommended for your device)

Since the MP3 player has no camera, QR code scanning is not available. However, you can fully use the 6-digit code method, which works exactly the same.

📖 How It Works

Send Anywhere supports two connection methods:

  • QR Code → for smartphones with cameras
  • 6-digit code → for devices without cameras

👉 The 6-digit code is the official alternative and provides identical functionality.

📁 Step-by-Step Guide

📤 1. On sender device (Phone / Computer)

Phone:

  • Install Send Anywhere app (iOS / Android)

Computer:

Then:

  1. Select files (music, videos, photos, etc.)
  2. Click “Send”
  3. A 6-digit code will be generated

👉 QR code is not required

📥 2. On MP3 player (Receiver)

  1. Open “File Transfer” on your device
  2. Launch Send Anywhere
  3. Tap “Receive”
  4. Enter the 6-digit code
  5. File transfer starts automatically

📌 Key Information

  • 🔑 6-digit code = QR code alternative (same function)
  • Valid for 10 minutes, single-use only
  • 📶 Works over Wi-Fi (no USB required)
  • 💻 Web version available, no installation needed on computer

Transfer Speed

  • Same Wi-Fi network → fastest (local transfer)
  • Different networks → slower via cloud server

🔧 Troubleshooting

Why does it show QR code instructions?

Because Send Anywhere includes QR scanning by default, but your device uses the 6-digit code method instead.

Is the 6-digit code secure?

Yes. It is a secure, randomly generated pairing method provided by Send Anywhere.

Can I send files from the MP3 player?

Yes. Select “Send” on the player to generate a code for other devices.
